Introduction

The RECON camera system consists of a Mallincam camera, an IOTA-VTI timing device, and a Mini-DVR recorder. The camera and VTI timing device are both powered by a dc power supply. The Mini-DVR should be charged ahead of time.

  1. Located the long cable that carries both power and data to the Mallincam camera. Insert the side of the cable with the RCA adapter into the white "IN" port on the back end of the IOTA-VTI timer box.

  2. Locate the end of the cable the carries power to the Mallincam camera and carries data back to the IOTA-VTI timer. Making sure there is enough slack for this cable to allow the camera to move up and down in altitude, secure the cord to the right arm of the form mount with a simple overhand knot.
